College campuses have long played a vital role in our society: as educators of future generations, incubators for innovation and economic development, and partners with the communities we serve.
SA+P invites you to join leaders in campus design and educational innovation at Then, Now, Next, a symposium on the future of college campuses. Academic and industry partners will share ideas on the past, present, and future, as well as explore MIT’s role as an innovative campus.
The symposium will feature more than 20 prominent presenters from academia, industry, and government, including:
—Architect and 2016 MIT McDermott Award winner David Adjaye
—Hashim Sarkis, Dean of the MIT School of Architecture and Planning
—Anant Agarwal, CEO, edX
—Katie Stebbins, Assistant Secretary of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
—Faculty from MIT, NYU, and University of Pennsylvania
—Architects and designers from Adjaye Associates; NuVu Studio; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; UNStudio, and Weiss/Manfredi
Hosted at MIT on March 30-31, the event is open to the public and free to MIT faculty, staff and students.
