Study Break: Slow Looking Art Workshop

Take a study break and come and create a large collaborative drawing inspired by selections from MIT List Visual Arts Center public art collection. This workshop will allow for a moment of reflection and contemplation of visual works to help shift your focus and practice stress reduction. This mindful drawing activity will provide new ways to understand and experience visual art. This workshop session explores Martin Boyces large scale installation Through Layers and Leaves (Closer and Closer) and takes place in lobby of the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT (Building 76). All materials provided. Locations on campus will change each month. The event is free. RSVPs are encouraged and drop-ins are welcome.
