MET Opening Events

Opening The MET

As the MIT School of Architecture and Planning prepares to move into the Metropolitan Storage Warehouse (the MET), we invite our community to mark the opening of a new shared home — a place for research, making, connection, and public life, and a hub of design for all of MIT and the world.

The school will gather through a series of public moments that celebrate not only a building, but the communities and practices that will inhabit it.

Registration is recommended to receive event details and updates about any weather-related changes to the date or location, and to help us plan for attendance.
